The Forest County Jail has many programs and services that inmates can participate in or take advantage of. These programs and services include, but not limited to the following:

In the Forest County Jail, the commissary is contracted out to the LoneStar Commissary. In the facility, the commissary is also referred to as the canteen. Inmates will only be able to make purchases up to $200 each week.
The Forest County Jail is situated in Crandon, Wisconsin. The LaSalle Corrections is the law enforcement agency responsible for the day to day operation of the Forest County Jail.
The Forest County Jail is a medium-security detention center. This facility will house adult male and adult female inmates. This facility does not house any juveniles. Juveniles are housed in a separate facility within the county.
Even though constitutionally the jail is the responsibility of the Forest County Sheriff’s Office, but the day to day operations as mentioned above is managed by the LaSalle Corrections. The LaSalle Corrections took over the responsibility of the jail back in 2007. The taxpayers in Forest County has spent countless amounts of money to help with the efficient management system they have in place.
