The Kitsapjefferson County Sheriff’s Office is the agency responsible for keeping and maintaining the Kitsap County Juvenile Detention Facility. In addition to taking in their own residents, the facility also houses inmates wanted from other states and in other counties throughout the state of Washington as well as take in inmates from the U.S. Marshall’s as well.
The jail is licensed by the state of Washington.
Inmates in the Kitsap County Juvenile Detention Facility will have access to medical care. Medical care is available for inmates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They will also have a few single cells for inmates who need to stay overnight for further treatment. All medical staff is licensed.
