The main mission of the Clark County Work Release Center is to provide a safe and humane environment for everyone involved. The facility wants to ensure the inmates are being treated with the utmost respect, while also ensuring that their correctional officers are safe and out of harm’s way.
The main mission of the facility is to provide a safe and humane environment for the inmates of Clark County. The Clark County Jail & Detention Center is commonly referred to as the Clark County Detention Center.
Majority of the inmates that are already sentenced have sentences less than two years. The Cook County Jail accepts inmates from surrounding municipalities and towns.
This facility will house adult male and adult female inmates. The Clark County Work Release Center is a medium-security detention center. Most inmates in the facility will end up serving time in the facility. Inmates who end up with a sentence greater than 2 years, will be sent to state prison. This facility does not house any juveniles inmates whatsoever.
The Clark County Jail & Detention Center has 9 full-time along with 6 part-time correctional officers, a Jail Administrator, and a Jail Programmer.
