The Lamoille County Sheriff’s Office is the agency responsible for maintaining and running the Lamoille County Jail.
Any visitor or inmate who disrupts the peace will be dealt with immediately for the safety of the other visitors, staff, and inmates. All visitors can be turned away as well for any reason. The correctional officers at the Lamoille County Jail are here to keep the peace.
Inmates can also receive letters from their loved ones. Inmates will also have the opportunity to call their loved ones as well.
These services include but not limited to visitation, bonds, inmate location, snail mail, funds and reimbursements, and their private property. The facility offers many services to its inmates while they are in their custody.

The Lamoille County Jail is also known as the Lamoille County Detention Facility. The facility can currently house up to 244 adult male and adult female inmates. The facility opened its doors back in 2010.
