The Cimarron County Jail is in Boise City, Oklahoma. The Cimarron County Jail is also known as the Cimarron County Correctional Facility. The Cimarron County Jail is operated and managed by the Cimarron County Sheriff’s Office.
The jail is divided into “pods,” each of which includes individual cells (2-3 inmates per cell), sitting areas, and an outside recreation court where inmates can play basketball or work out.
In 2000, the detention center expanded and currently has the capacity to hold 120 inmates.
The Cimarron County Jail maintains a balance between having a safe and secure environment while also protecting the public community and the staff.
While inmates are serving their time in the Cimarron County Jail they will have access to a GED prep program, medical care, and three meals a day.
All staff members are highly trained when working with inmates. The main mission in the Cimarron County Jail is to provide the necessary resources to both inmates and staff to help rehabilitate the individuals to become productive members of society. They went through rigorous training that will allow them to protect themselves, inmates, and even visitors if needed.
The Cimarron County Jail receives new inmates to the jail daily. Inmates are released when they post bail, placed under probation, or on their own recognizance. While new inmates are coming in, there are also inmates leaving as well.
