The Slope County Jail is nestled in Amidon, North Dakota. The Slope County Jail is operated and managed by the Slope County Sheriff’s Office.
The Slope County Jail is a medium-security facility. The main mission of the detention center is to provide many services along with necessary operations not only for the protection of the community, but also to provide a safe and humane environment for the staff working inside the Slope County Jail. The facility also wants to maintain respect for all inmates in their custody.
The Slope County Jail provides its wide variety of services including educational programs such as GED Prep, MATCH/PATCH Program, Law Library Services, Reentry Program, Social Services, and Chaplaincy Services.
