The Bowman County Jail is in Bowman, North Dakota. The Bowman County Sheriff’s Office is the law enforcement agency in charge of the day to day operation of the Bowman County Jail.
There are a number of inmates who are currently serving out their sentence in the facility as well. The Bowman County Jail is made up of mainly of inmates who are currently waiting for their trial to start, inmates who are going through their trial, and inmates who are waiting to be sentenced. If an inmate is sentenced to more than two years, they will be transferred out to state prison within North Dakota. The Bowman County Jail will house inmates who have a sentence of two years or less.

Inmates will have the opportunities to use the telephones, showers, have three meals a day, and have the opportunity to have medical care if needed.
