The Lenoir County W.E. is operated and managed by the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Department.
The Lenoir County Sheriff’s Department works closely with the Lenoir County Search and Rescue and the emergency services. They provide a great service coincide with the Lenoir County W.E. .
The Lenoir County W.E. has its inmate roster available for the general public to search. The inmate roster is updated regularly.
The Lenoir County W.E. operates closely with other law enforcement agencies. They will accept inmates from surrounding cities, counties, and will even take in the occasional federal inmates.
The facility is a medium-security jail. They only house adult males and adult females. They do not house any juveniles. All inmates in the facility are not an escape risk. All inmates will have access to telephone, showers, and have three meals a day. Inmates will also have the chance to seek out medical care, if and when needed.
Majority of the inmates that are housed in the Lenoir County W.E. are inmates who are currently waiting for their trial or currently waiting to be sentenced. However, there are inmates in the facility that have already been sentenced and they are currently serving out their time in the facility.
