The Hyde County Jail is located in Swan Quarter, North Carolina. The facility is also known as the Hyde County Detention Center. The Hyde County Jail is operated and managed by the Hyde County Sheriff’s Office.
Inmates can also receive letters from their loved ones. Inmates will also have the opportunity to call their loved ones as well.
The Hyde County Jail is home to inmates who are waiting for their trial to start, going through their trial, and inmates who are waiting to be sentenced. However, there are a handful of inmates who have already been sentenced as well. Most of the inmates that have been sentenced will carry a sentence of two years and less.
Inmates will also be permitted to send and receive letters and make outgoing phone calls.
