The Polk County Jail that you see today opened its doors back in July of 1985. The facility cost nearly $4.5 million. The funding for this facility was provided by Proposition 4. This was the first of three funding measures when it comes to jails.

If an inmate is on work release, they will be charged $70 plus an additional $15 as well. Inmates that are in the Polk County Jail will be billed $70 a day they are in the facility.
Inmates who have been released, on probation, or transferred to a different facility will not be in this roster.
