The facility is staffed with 10 full-time correctional officers alongside the jail administration. All correctional officers will be required to undergo a 120-hour course held by the Montana Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. All correctional officers will also need to be certified in CPR and first aid.
If an inmate is on work release, they will be charged $70 plus an additional $15 as well. Inmates that are in the Sheridan County Jail will be billed $70 a day they are in the facility.
The facility only houses adult male and adult female inmates. The facility does not house any juvenile inmates. The juvenile inmates are housed in a separate facility somewhere else in the county.
The inmate roster is composed of the inmates in the custody of Sheridan County Jail. The Sheridan County Jail has its current inmate roster available on the web for the community to search through. The roster will not have any inmates who were transferred to a different facility, inmates who are on probation, and inmates who were released.
The Sheridan County Jail does not only house inmates who are currently serving their time behind bars. They also house inmates who are currently going through the judicial system. It does not matter if the inmate is currently waiting for their trial or if they are waiting to be sentenced.
