The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office is the agency responsible for keeping and maintaining the Marshall County Jail. In addition to taking in their own residents, the facility also houses inmates wanted from other states and in other counties throughout the state of Minnesota as well as take in inmates from the U.S. Marshall’s as well.
In addition to incarcerating offenders from all jurisdictions within Marshall County, the Marshall County Jail also holds fugitives wanted in other states, in other Minnesota counties as well as prisoners from the U.S. Marshall’s office.
The Marshall County Jail will provide their inmates with hygiene products, clothing, food, and indoor recreational facilities. Any other item an inmate may need or want, they will need to purchase through the commissary. The commissary is where inmates can purchase other items that are not necessary to their day to day life that the jail provides.
