The Oscoda County Jail is located in Mio, Michigan. The Oscoda County Jail is operated and managed by the Oscoda County Sheriff’s Office.
The second floor of the facility is the Law Enforcement Addition, which also had the Sheriff’s Office and alongside the 911 Dispatch Center. The Oscoda County Jail first opened back in 1982.
Inmates are released when they post bail, placed under probation, or on their own recognizance. While new inmates are coming in, there are also inmates leaving as well. The Oscoda County Jail receives new inmates to the jail daily.
