Located in Indianapolis, Indiana, and run by the Marion County Sheriff’s Department, the Marion County Indiana Jail houses inmates in the county from low level to higher level crimes.

Every year Marion County Indiana Jail averages 3500 bookings, with a daily average of 175 Inmates and a staff of 43.

The facility currently has 159 general population beds, 13 fixed beds for booking, 1 padded cell, 1 medical isolation cell, and 1 large intake holding cell for overflow inmates. Twenty-eight of the 175 beds are for female inmates.

The Marion County Inmates are provided three meals a day that are approved by a dietician in accordance with the Indiana Nutritional Standards.  The kitchen staff oversees the food preparation and delivery.

•    Send inmates commissary money
•    Receive and send inmates mail
•    Visit inmates during visiting hours
