The Terrell County Jail is nestled in Dawson, Georgia. The Terrell County Sheriff’s Office is the law enforcement agency responsible for the day to day operation at the Terrell County Jail.

Inmates are not allowed to receive incoming calls, but they can call you. The Terrell County Jail allows inmates to call their friends and family back home.
You will be able to enter the facility on the corner of 5th Street and 4th Avenue. If you do not want to be searched, you will not be permitted on the premises and you will not be permitted to visit ANY inmate. All visitors will be required to undergo a weapons screening prior to being allowed on the premises.
The Terrell County Jail also has its current inmate roster online as well for the community to search through at their leisure.
Visitors will need to provide an identification card, whether it is their driver’s license, state identification card, or their United States Passport. Inmates in the Terrell County Jail can accept visitors. Inmates are permitted to have 20 minutes of visitation during their visitation day.
