The Baca County Jail opened its doors back in August of 1990. When the Baca County Jail opened it was replacing the Springfield Correctional Facility.
The Baca County Jail receives new inmates to the jail daily. Inmates are released when they post bail, placed under probation, or on their own recognizance. While new inmates are coming in, there are also inmates leaving as well.
They are allotted 20 minutes a day with any one person. Inmates in the Baca County Jail will have the opportunity to visit with their friends and family.
