Located in Marysville, California, and run by the Yuba County Sheriff’s Department, the Maxine Singer Youth Guidance Center houses inmates in the county from low level to higher level crimes.
The Yuba County Inmates are provided three meals a day that are approved by a dietician in accordance with the California Nutritional Standards. The kitchen staff oversees the food preparation and delivery.
There is another facility within the Yuba County that will keep the juveniles. The Maxine Singer Youth Guidance Center is a medium-security facility. This facility does not take in any juvenile inmates whatsoever. The facility is home to adult male and adult female inmates.
All violent and out of control inmates will be separated from the general population inmates to keep the peace inside the facility at all times.
