All inmates in the Elkhorn Correctional Facility will be booked and processed by the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office Detention Facility. The entire booking and processing process will take the law enforcement agency nearly 4 hours so the bonding office can confirm all information on the inmate is correct.

The Elkhorn Correctional Facility is a medium-security detention center. This facility will house adult male and adult female inmates. This facility does not house any juveniles. Juveniles are housed in Fresno County Juvenile Detention Center.
