Washington County Arkansas Jail main mission is to protect their staff, inmates, and the community they serve. They also want to provide the best of the best programs to help reduce the likelihood of inmates being re-incarcerated.

The Washington County Arkansas Jail offers its inmates many programs while they are serving out their time. These programs include:

• GED Prep
• ADO
• Alcoholics Anonymous
• Narcotics Anonymous
• Moral Reconation Therapy
• Religious Services
• Portal New Directions

All religious services are offered twice a week. The alcoholics and narcotics anonymous classes are lead by some of the locals in Washington County.

All inmates will have three meals a day and option to access medical care. If an inmate is in need of medical attention, they will work with Southern Health Partners for their needs.

When an inmate gets admitted to the Washington County Arkansas Jail they will be given bed sheets, blankets, mattress, towel, uniforms, toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, and soap. Every other item an inmate will need can be purchased from the commissary.  Indigent inmates will be provided with personal hygiene products.

The inmates will have the option to purchase items from the commissary. The commissary will deliver the inmates goods on Mondays and Fridays.
