The Neaves-Davis Juvenile Center is operated and ran by the Chippewa Sheriff’s Department in Huntsville, AL. The facility is the holding pen for not only people who have already been convicted of their crime but people who are awaiting trial as well.
The Neaves-Davis Juvenile Center is responsible for keeping and maintaining a safe and humane environment for both its correctional officers and their inmates. Their staff members will complete a rigorous training that is designed for both their safety and the safety of the inmates they are in charge of.
The main mission of the Neaves-Davis Juvenile Center is to rehabilitate the inmates prior to releasing them back into the communities.
The facility will provide the inmates with personal hygiene products, medical care (if/when needed), and three meals a day. The facility is a medium-security facility meaning most of the inmates here will have a sentence of 2 years or less.
The Neaves-Davis Juvenile Center has its inmate roster available for the general public to look at. This will have all the inmates that are currently sitting in the Neaves-Davis Juvenile Center.
Inmates who are deemed violent or may disrupt the peace will be separated from the general population of inmates.
